Join Us in New Zealand for ISC 2026 – Still time to Participate!

The countdown is on for the 22nd International Sedimentological Congress in Wellington, New Zealand – registration numbers are increasing day by day and we hope to broaden participation as much as possible and make this a truly global gathering! Visit this link to register.

There’s still space available in several exciting activities:

  • Pre-congress workshop: Describing and Understanding Shale/Mudstone Facies
  • Mid-week Haerenga – Layers of Land & Legacy: A unique opportunity to explore sites of cultural significance and deepen your understanding of Māori heritage.
  • Mid-week Harbour Cruise and Walking Tour

Pre- and post-congress field trips are open for booking, with limited spots available. These immersive experiences are designed to be as affordable as possible and led by passionate local experts. Keep an eye out for the “In the Shadows” trip – it will be added to the booking form by 11th October. Visit this link for more information on the pre- and post- field trips, and this link for the mid-conference field trips.

Additional opportunities:

  • Late poster submissions are still being accepted.
  • Exhibition spaces remain available.
  • International sponsors are invited to support sessions aligned with their expertise.

Please note: All official communications come from isc2026@confer.co.nz, and our trusted tour partner is Exclusive Tours Limited (Sharron). Be cautious of phishing scams using publicly available contact details and programme information.
