Sedimentary Provenance Analysis – SPA Short Course 2025

The Short Course is designed for 25 to 30 participants and previous iterations (most years since 2011) have been fully booked. It is designed for PhD-students; however, advanced M.Sc.-students and postdocs are highly welcome. Participants benefit from lectures and exercises giving a comprehensive overview on the potential of sedimentary provenance analysis for reconstructing the parent rocks of sediments, the climatic and geomorphic conditions under which sediments formed as well as the evolution of sediment-forming processes and sediment routing systems through time and space.
