IAL-IPA Joint Meeting 2025

Every 3 years, IAL-IPA joint symposia celebrate research on lakes from multiple perspectives with a focus on the sediment record as both Earth System Archives and social and cultural memories of Human societies. The 2025 symposium aims at bridging the gap across a broad range of disciplines that work within the overarching theme of Earth System and Climate-Environment-Cultural changes. The programme includes many sessions with a sedimentology focus and emphasize a deep-time perspective, and/or the application of modern sedimentary processes to interpreting the rock record. 

The abstract deadline is 22nd June, registration closes on 23rd July.
