From 1 November, renewal of subscriptions is available for subscribing members, who will receive a renewal reminder in the course of November. Those not subscribing for the current year but wanting to subscribe for the next year should wait until 1 January of the next year.

The Friendship Scheme program allows scientists in "developing countries" with difficulties to transfer money abroad to receive Sedimentology for free. The idea is that a donor pays half of the annual dues for a person of his choice, or he/she can leave the choice of this person to the Treasurer. The IAS pays the other half of the fee. This scheme also includes libraries in less developed countries.
